This is largely because of the state&#8217;s vast oil wealth and relative political and economic stability.<\/p>\n<p>The Dinar was first introduced following Kuwait&#8217;s independence from Britain in 1961 and replaced the Gulf rupee. It has remained relatively stable since then aside from a brief crash during the First Gulf War.  <\/p>\n<p>Kuwait has a strong economy and is a major exporter of oil, so the Kuwait Dinar is a popular currency for foreign exchange transactions.  <\/p>\n<p>The Kuwait Dinar is also sometimes used in a number of other countries, including Iraq and <a
