Our Card
Eligibility Criteria
Check if you’re eligible for a business Card
If you have foreign exchange and business payment requirements, subject to the eligibility criteria below and our usual Terms & Conditions, a Finseta business card may be right for you.
We don’t want to raise expectations and disappoint applicants so we’ve put together a list of the types of businesses and industries that we typically support and those that we don’t. Even if you’re in the supported list it does not necessarily mean that we’ll be able to offer you an account.
Business types and Jurisdictions we do support
You can apply for an account if you’re:
- at least 18 years old
- the director of a registered limited company based in the UK. Both your registered address and principal trading address must be in the UK
- a sole trader – if you are a sole trader we will not accept third party funds in. All funds must come from an account in your own name.
- If you’re a limited company, to be eligible your company needs to:
- have an active status on Companies House (we can’t support dormant companies)
- have an active company director listed on Companies House i.e. not disqualified director
- have at least one person of significant control (PSC) listed on Companies House. The director and PSC can be the same person.
- be a tax resident in the UK, and no other countries
When you apply for a Finseta business account, we’ll verify all the people with significant control (PSC’s) in your business. As part of the application process, you will have to confirm that you have sought permission from all the PSC’s in your business for us to do this.
Business types and Jurisdictions we don’t support
We do not support the following:
- Chaities
- Community interest company (CIC)
- Clubs or other non-registered organisations
- Trusts or funds
- Other registered business types, like an unlimited company (Unltd), industrial and provident society (IPS) or Royal Charter (RC).

If your business is based, registered, or a tax resident outside of the UK we can’t offer you an account.
